Catholic Youth Camp Registration

Please note: Camper registration is done through participating parish and campus youth ministers.

Dear Parish Youth Group and School Campus Ministers,

Unsure where the country will be in July with respect to the pandemic, we changed our registration policy to reduced financial anxiety and worry. Register today RISK-FREE by emailing Fr. Ken McKenna, OSFS, with the following information:

  • contact information: your name, email and phone number
  • name of your Catholic parish or school
  • session(s) you prefer (Session 1: July 13-18 • Session 2: July 20-25 • Session 3: July 27-Aug 1)
  • number of 7th-12th grade boys, number of girls and number of adult youth ministers attending

Once we have that information, we will:

  • call you and walk you through the entire registration process
  • hold the requested places
  • ask for a deposit of $100 per spot by April 1 or no more than 2 weeks after registering. The deposits are refundable if the cancellations are due to any COVID-19 related issues
  • email you updates concerning the pandemic and how we see it affecting our summer plans
  • ask you to pay the remain balance for all spots reserved (each spot costs $395.00 total) once we feel completely confident that the sessions will run (hopefully known by May 1st).

Once again, because of COVID, you can drop participants before July 1 and receive a full refund. If there are still spots available, you may also add participants right up to when the session begins (assuming paperwork is complete).

We are focusing on registering parish youth groups now. After April 1, we will focus on Catholic schools. Attention Parish Youth Ministers: Please register before April 1 to guarantee your place.

We can accommodate 55 participants per session, we need a minimum of 40 participants to run each session. If we lose too many people at the last minute we may not be able to find replacements and the whole session may be in jeopardy. Therefore we ask your parish or school to make every effort possible to find replacements for any student who drops out after June 1st.

Following an isolating pandemic, we believe your teens will LOVE and BE BLESSED BY these fun, cost-conscious, community building, faith-based youth retreats at Camp DeSales. We hope to see you there!

– John Trabbic, Fr. Ken McKenna, OSFS and Bro. James Herrighty, OSFS
