This weekend workshop includes educational workshops, arts and crafts as well as recreational activities for self-governing Deaf/Blind adults (ages 16 and older).  Participants will attend lectures and activities designed to foster independence and self-advocacy. Deaf/Blind participants also provide interpreters with learning opportunities thru lectures (Thursday) and hands-on experience (Friday to Sunday) and expose support personnel to the various accommodations, methods and cultural awareness needs for working with those having both hearing and vision loss.  Continuing Education Units Available - . For more information or to receive a registration form please contact Jill Gaus at 517-764-6178 (TTY/V/VP) or Jagaus@sbcglobal.netCost: $35 for Deaf/Blind and $85 for Interpreters.
