The hermitages are private buildings used by the Oblates and their guests for private retreats at De Sales Center. Each hermitage has a kitchen (refrigerator, sink, microwave and stovetop without oven) and full bath. Guests have access to the chapel and its spiritual library as well as to acres of scenic woodland. Many retreatants join the Oblate community for Mass in the chapel. Oblate priests are usually available for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Each hermitage can accommodate two people, but one retreatant at a time is recommended. Guests bring their own food and prepare their own meals. Linens are provided. Arrival time: 3 PM; Departure time: 11 AM. Suggested donation: $35 per night Sunday through Thursday, $45 per night Friday and Saturday; $180 per week.

Guests may reserve hermitages anytime but they cannot be guaranteed more than two months in advance. We have four hermitages on the property.
