How Campers Register
All campers must register through a participating Catholic parish or school. If you are interested in attending, please ask your campus minister, parish youth minister, or pastor whether your school or parish will participate in CYC this summer. If your parish or school is unable to participate, we encourage you to explore Damascus Catholic Youth Summer Camp.

Parish and School Involvement
CYC is designed not only to provide an inspiring week at camp, but also to strengthen year-round discipleship and faith formation. We therefore ask each participating parish or school to register at least one youth minister, priest, deacon, religious, or adult chaperone for every 6-8 campers.
Adult leaders are encouraged to stay with their teens in the cabins and participate alongside them in small groups, prayer, and activities. These shared experiences create meaningful memories, deepen relationships, and provide a common foundation for ministry throughout the coming pastoral or school year.

An unforgettable Catholic camp-retreat experience led by kind, faith-filled missionaries, with engaging talks and breakout sessions, inspiring Masses, Eucharistic adoration, music and worship, delicious food, and a full range of fun camp activities. A focused opportunity for pastors, youth ministers, campus ministers, and adult leaders to connect—or reconnect—with the young people they will accompany throughout the year.
Camp DeSales availability and Charity on Fire support throughout the year, offering sacramental, worship, and program assistance for parish and school retreats and followup.
Opportunities to build relationships with youth ministers and teens from neighboring parishes and schools and to participate in collaborative programming during the school year.

Registration is open. Use the "Reserve spots button" to reserve spots or to be placed on the waiting list. Spots often open up when deposits are due (Jan 10). After January 10, spots are given away first come, first serve to any parish or school that pays the $200 deposit. Those on the waiting list will be considered first.

CAPACITY: 70 campers plus their youth ministers/chaperones.

AGES: Current 5-8 graders for Middle School CYC and current 8-12 graders for High School CYC. Current eighth graders can attend either.

COST: $495 per participant. Cost includes lodging, meals and all activities.
No cost for clergy and religious.

$200 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: We will hold spots without deposits until January 10, 2027. Afterwards spots without deposits will be given away on a first come, first serve basis.

FULL PAYMENT DUE: August 1, 2027.

Messy games, swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaks, paddle boards, pontoon boat rides, low-ropes course, paintball, gaga ball, nine square, basketball, volleyball, spike-ball, capture the flag, crafts, campfires, s'mores and more.

Through thought-provoking discussions; heartfelt testimonies; joyful, energetic worship; quiet, peaceful adoration; and inspiring, beautiful Masses campers and staff celebrate Christ's intimacy, glory and love.

FACILITIES

Camp DeSales features retreat facilities and delicious food in a fun, friendly camp setting. Please contact camp for a tour - we would love to show you the property.

LOCATION

Located on Vineyard Lake in the Irish Hills of Michigan and owned by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales, Camp DeSales has been in operation since 1948.
